Mike and Karen Cartlidge, formerly of Great Bend, now residing in Yukon, Okla., will celebrate their 40th anniversary on June 30 with a card shower. A family trip to Branson is planned in August.  
Karen Hoffhaus and Jerry (Mike) Cartlidge were united in marriage on June 30, 1973, at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend. Mike is an oilfield salesman for Garrison Brothers of El Reno, Okla. Karen is a 3rd grade teacher at the Western Heights School District of Oklahoma City. They have two sons, John and wife Kayla, and their children, Aubrey and Alivia of Winfield, and Matthew and wife Stacia of Manassas, Va.; and a daughter Jennifer Schnack and husband Andy of Overland Park.
