Greetings from the Great Bend Public Library! This evening, we have something extra exciting in store. Join us to do a paint pour for this month’s Adult Craft, starting at 6 p.m. Supplies are limited; first come, first served. The east entrance will be accessible until 6:15 p.m. This has always been one of our most popular crafts, so make sure to come early.

Friday evening is our next session of our Table Top Teens D&D Miniseries. While our table may be full, we welcome spectators. Whether you just want to come see what the D&D craze is all about, maybe see if you want to join our next campaign, or you just want a front row seat to all the chaos, if you’re a teen, you’re more than welcome to join our spectator squad.

We have a full day of events on Tuesday, starting with Early Literacy Story Time at 10:30 a.m. This is an active time for little learners featuring early literacy skills, picture books, finger plays, songs, rhymes, music, art, and movement.

Do you have specific tech questions about your computer or phone? We can help! Bring your device by the Reference Desk starting at 11 a.m. for Tech Tuesday.

Lastly, at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, we have the Writing Club. In celebration of National Poetry Month, we will be taking old pages of text and turning them into poetry.

Next Thursday evening, join us for Genealogy Thursday at 11 a.m., followed by the teen Manga and Anime Club that evening at 5:30 p.m.

For April’s club meeting, we’ll be covering “Dragon Ball Z” by Akira Toriyama. “After years of training and adventure, Goku has become Earth’s ultimate warrior. And his son, Gohan, shows even greater promise. But the stakes are increasing as even deadlier enemies threaten the planet. A visitor from outer space arrives bearing terrible news – Goku is an alien, and the visitor, Raditz, is Goku’s brother! When Raditz turns out to be a ruthless killer, Goku must fight his incredibly strong brother to save his family and the entire human race. (Amazon)!” Afterwards, we’ll duke it out in an old-school fighting game! Copies of May’s title will be available for pickup.
