Vincent and Alice Dolechek will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an Open House from 2 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the Odin Gymnasium. Hosts for the even will be Robin and Anne Beran of Peoria, Ill, Gerald Jr. and Lisa Beran, Terry (Tex) Beran, Kevin Beran, Craig and Michelle Beran, Eric and Kris Beran, all of Odin, and Joy and Tim Hertach and Jane and Rick Schreiber, all of Claflin.
Vincent Dolechek and Alice Beran were united in marriage on Oct. 22, 1966 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Odin. The couple has resided most of the married life on a farm near Dubuque. Vincent is a farmer and Alice is a homemaker.
