Mary Kohn and Gary Durland were united in marriage on Nov. 17, 1962, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Spearville. The couple has seven children, Barbara and Delbert Downey, Jeanette and Brian Standlee, Ron and Diane Durland, Linda Durland, Carla Durland, the late Gregory Durland, and David and Angela Durland; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
