James and Nancy Farmer of Hoisington will celebrate their 60th anniversary on June 19 with a card shower.
Nancy D. Brinson and James Farmer were united in marriage on June 19, 1955, in Hoisington. James owns Jim’s Tree Service. Nancy was a stay at home mom and employed by Karlin Communications and the Great Bend Police Department. The couple has five children, Anna Marie Belfard and Randy of Marion Arkansas, Nancy Jane Bass and Joe of Marble Falls, Ark., Brenda Donetz, and J.D. Farmer and Rose, both of Hoisington and Jeri Lynne Miller and Johnny of Mesa, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and expecting their first great-great grandchild in July.
