Garth and JoAnn Frydendall will celebrate their 55th anniversary today.
Garth Frydendall and JoAnn Jewell were united in marriage on Oct. 10, 1955 in Osborne at the Assembly of God Church. Residents of Great Bend, Garth is a retired truck driver for Great Bend Feeding and JoAnn is a retired cashier for Dillys Restaurant. The couple has two children, Debbie Evers and husband Daryl of Olathe and Brenda Axman and husband Paul of Hoisington; four grandchildren, Derek Evers and wife Heather of Norman, Okla. Deren Evers of Oklahoma City, Okla, Dawna Evers of Hays and Doug Axman of Hoisington; and a great-grandchild Harrison Evers of Norman, Okla.
