Marlin and Normalee Isern of Ellinwood will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Sept. 4 with a card shower.
Marlin Isern and Normalee Peters were united in marriage in Ellinwood. Marlin is a retired farmer and served as a Barton County Commissioner for 12 years. Normalee is a homemaker. The couple enjoys traveling and plan a trip to Alaska in September. They have two children, Carl and Cheryl Isern of Ellinwood and DeAnn and Dave Haake of Olathe; and six grandchildren.
