Lawrence and Kay Jenisch, of Claflin, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Aug. 17 with a card shower and a family dinner.
Kay Neill and Lawrence Jenisch were united in marriage on Aug. 17, 1963 in Odin. Lawrence in retired from farming and working as an industrial arts teacher at Claflin High School. Kay is a retired dressmaker. They have two children and four grandchildren, Marla Gales and husband Barry, of Edmond Okla., and grandchildren Zach and Taylor; and Brian Jenisch and wife Jamy, of Katy, Texas and grandchildren Matthew and Payton.
