Mr. and Mrs. Ron Kirmer of Great Bend will celebrate their 40th anniversary on April 12, with a card shower. There will be a family brunch on Sunday.
Janet Tauscher and Ron Kirmer were united in marriage on April 12, 1975, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend. Ron is employed by Barton Community College as an Instructor/Coordinator in the Automotive Department. Janet is employed by Prince of Peace Parish as Secretary. The couple have three children, Amy Baker of Topeka, Shaun Kirmer of Olathe and Dan Kirmer of Lamar, Colo.; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
