Melvin and Sharon Klusener of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th anniversary June 30 with a card shower.
Sharon Davis  and Melvin Klusener were married in 1963. Melvin retired from Marlette Homes in Great Bend, after 24 years, and then spent 22 years at Southard Home Improvement in Great Bend. Sharon has worked for Tom Harris of State Farm Insurance in Great Bend, for 39 years.
Their children are the late Myron Klusener and Jason (Jan) Klusener, of Hutchinson. They have three grandchildren, Mandy (Rick) Snyder, of Hutchinson, Matt (Carrie) Klusener, of Wichita, and McCaulley Klusener, of Manhattan, and a great-grandchild on the way.
