Don and Loretta Kuhlman will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Aug. 31 with a card shower. In addition, the couple celebrated with a family trip to Branson, Mo. in July.
Loretta Staudinger and Donald Kuhlman were united in marriage on Aug. 31, 1963 in Dubuque. They have four children, James and Debbie Kuhlman of Great Bend, Darryl and Cindy Kuhlman of Bellevue, Neb., Sarah and John Haywood of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dale and Billie Kuhlman of Olmitz; nine grandchildren, Jaime Byers of Hoisington, Jacob, Jessica and Justin Kuhlman of Great Bend, Taylor Kuhlman of Omaha, Neb., Aden and Beck Haywood of Anchorage, Alaska, and Ray and Katie Kuhlman of Olmitz. Don farms around the Olmitz area and Loretta is retired.
