Louis “Louie” and Julia Herren will celebrate their 70th anniversary on Nov. 22, Louie’s 94th birthday.
Julia M. Fish and Louis F. Herren were united in marriage on Nov. 22, 1946, on Louie’s birthday, at Baker Avenue Baptist Church in Great Bend in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. W.R. Doran. Celebrating with them will be their two daughters and their husbands, Carol and Dwight Selle and Carla and Jim Ziegler; granddaughters and husbands, Sheri and Alan Wornkey, Mitzi and Michael Haines, Terra and Scott Miller; great-grandsons, Alex Cook, Michael Ringo Jr., Kobi Wilson, and Kalib Wilson; and great-granddaughter Khloi Miller.
