Jim and Connie Rube will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Oct. 8 with a card shower.
Jim Rube and Connie Gilmore were united in marriage on Oct. 8th, 1960 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Hoisington. They have lived their entire life in Great Bend. Jim and Connie were the owners of Rube’s Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration for 40 years. Jim still works part-time at the company as general manager. Jim and Connie have two daughters, Becky Reeves and husband Alan of Wilson and Carie Pedigo and husband Brian of Great Bend, and five grandchildren, Tyler, Creighton and Tanner Reeves and Phane and Accacia Pedigo.
