H.A. and Lovella Smith of Larned celebrated their 60th anniversary on May 31.
Lovella Kuepker and J.A. Smith were united in marriage on May 31, 1957, at the First Presbyterian Church in Emporia. Both were teachers at Pawnee Rock High School and later at Larned High School. The couple have three children, Desmond Smith of Houston, Texas, Dianne and Vic Johnson of Atascadero, Calif., and Brian and Amy Smith and their children Annaka and Katerina, of Henderson, Nev.; and a very special dog named Katie.
