Jake and Peggy Stremel will celebrate their 57th anniversary on April 21 with a family dinner followed by a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Great Bend Senior Center.  Hosts for the event will be their children, Susan and George Read and Lisa and Greg Richmeier. Friends and family are invited to join the family at the reception and bring a wedding picture (or a photocopy) to add to a display.
Peggy Heckele and Jake Stremel were married on April 9, 1956, in Ellinwood. They have four grandchildren John Read, Abbey Read, Shayla Richmeier, and Bryce Richmeier; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah Caton and Scarlett Wilcox.
