Duane C. Rouser will celebrate his 80th birthday October 9 with a card shower.
He was born October 9, 1931 to Clyde and Marjorie Rouser in Mount Hope, Kansas. Duane served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 in Germany. On Aug. 7, 1952, he married Georganna Shive. They were later divorced. On July 24, 1965, Duane married Z. Lee Phillips in Mount Hope. The family moved to Bison on Jan. 1, 1967, where Duane became manager of the Bison Farmers Coop. In 1988 he became General Manager of the Alexander Coop. After retiring from the co-op business, Duane and Lee moved to Great Bend, Ks. On May 1 they moved to
Pensacola, Fla. He has four children, Michele and Les Harmon, and Dennis Rouser, both of Pensacola, Fla., Denise and Tony Oborny, of Mission, Viejo,Calif., and Steven Rouser, of Great Bend; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
