Eugene Grizzell of Macksville, will celebrate his 90th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on July 24 at the VIP Senior Citizens Center, 302 N. Main Street in Macksville. No gifts are requested.

Eugene was born on July 25, 1921 in rural Macksville. On Feb. 22, 1948 he married Louise Grunder. She died on Sept. 26, 2006. He served in the United States Navy in World War II. He was employed by Master’s Manufacturing Company as a machinist for a year and a half and is a retired farmer/stockman. He has four children, Lynne and Bob Snodgrass of Bella Vista, Ark., Dennis and Lynda Grizzell of Wichita, Fritz and Ann Marie Grizzell and Todd and Marilyn Grizzell, all of Macksville; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
