Shirley Blanchard was born on Oct. 17, 1921 in Hagerstown, Md. She married Harold Blanchard. He died in June 2009. She is a homemaker. She has two children, Jacque and Nelson Eichelberger of Wytheville, Va. and Larry and Judy Blanchard of Lipetsk, Russia.
