Dennis and Virginia Boepple of Oviedo, Florida, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on Aug. 12, 2022.

The couple were united in marriage on Aug. 12, 1972 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wilson. They have lived in a number of Kansas communities as Dennis was employed in the education field. His final position was counselor at Salina Area Technical School in Salina. During this time, Virginia was a homemaker, school and church volunteer, and substitute teacher. The couple moved to Florida to be closed to their son Nathan, his wife Dana and two grandsons, Beau and Beckett.
