Student Library Assistant Hytomi Nuno will be focusing on different seniors throughout the year to spotlight, and this will be featured in our Check It Out column. Today’s Senior Spotlight is Brooklin Morgan.
Brooklin is a senior at EHS. Her family members are her mom and dad, Angelina and David Morgan.
“Out of My Mind” by Sharon Draper is Morgan’s favorite book, because it shows a new perspective in light of someone with a disability.
Her favorite quote is, “To be successful, you have to be selfish, or else you will never achieve. And once you get to your highest level, then you have to be unselfish.” - Micheal Jordan.
Brooklin’s favorite class is Physics, because it’s a challenging class and fun to get introduced to a field she’ll hopefully get into in her future.
Brooklin has been involved in cheer for two years and she’s loved the teams both years. She has had some of her best memories associated with it. She has also been involved in FBLA for four years. She loves the experiences it’s brought her, such as traveling to Chicago with friends.
Next year, Brooklin plans to go to Barton and then Wichita State University and study physics, astronomy, or another science field. We wish Brooklin a great year in her senior chapter!
