Area churches are conducting Vacation Bible Schools or preparing to do so.
Prince of Peace Parish offered Totus Tuus the week of June 12 for grades 1-12. “Totus Tuus” is a Latin greeting that was routinely used to sign off letters written in Latin. It means “all yours.”
Totus Tuus is also a summer Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic Faith.
Also this month, Heartland Community Church, 4907 10th St., will offer “Twists & Turns” Vacation Bible School, June 26-29. The theme features fun and games, with the subtext that “Following Jesus changes the game” (Psalms 25:4). Hours are 6-8 p.m.
