4Hers compete in NW KS Air Rifle competition

Will Clark competing at the NW KS Air Rifle competition in the standing position of the competition.

On March 4, 11 Barton county 4H‘ers traveled to Hays to compete in the NW KS/Ellis County Air Rifle competition. There were 42 competitors representing 12 counties at the match.
Competing in the 13 and 14 year old division, from Barton County, were Gus and Woodson Corbett from Ellinwood and Will Clark from Great Bend. Clark placed fourth in the division.
Representing Barton County in the 15 and 16 year old division were Collin Hammond, Evan Hammond and Parker Smith, all from Great Bend and Katelyn Reh from Ellinwood. Smith placed first in the division. Reh tied for second but when the tie was broken she ended up third.
Competing in the 17 and 18 year old division, from Barton County was Jace Schwager and Caleb Straub, both from Great Bend and Lake Lyman from Ellinwood. Schwager placed third and Straub placed fourth.
The Barton County team, made up of Parker Smith, Katelyn Reh, Jace Schwager and Caleb Straub, finished third in the team division.
