The 2016 Annual Aktion Club Conference will be held April 23 at the Walnut Bowling Alley in Great Bend.
Aktion Club is a Kiwanis International program for adults with disabilites. The Great Bend Kiwanis Club sponsors two clubs, one with Rosewood Services and one with Sunflower Diversified Services.
Those attending the conference will meet members of other Kansas Aktion Clubs.
Sponsors have planned a busy day of community service, catered barbecue lunch, miniature golf, and bowling.
The cost of the conference is $25 including support staff. The conference will start at 9:30 a.m., but attendees are encouraged to come as early as 8:45 a.m. to check in. It is anticipated the conference will end about 2:30 p.m. Registrations are requested by April 15.
