Barton County 4H Air Rifle competitors travel to Hays

On March 2, the kid’s in the Barton County 4H air rifle project traveled to Hays to compete in the Ellis County Air Rifle Match. There were 60 competitors from 15 counties entered in the air rifle match including the Barton County kid’s.
In the 8 to 10 year old division, Will Clark from Great Bend placed 1st. Dalton Dicks from Great Bend finished 2nd. Logan Hammeke and Landen Hammeke, both from Great Bend also competed in this division.
In the 11 and 12 year old division, Katelyn Reh from Ellinwood placed 1st and Parker Smith from Great Bend finished 2nd.
In the 13 and 14 year old division, Lake Lyman from Ellinwood placed 5th and Caleb Straub from Great Bend placed 10th.
In the 15 and 16 year old division, Ryan Kohman from Great Bend placed 2nd.
In the 17 and 18 year old division, Jake Kohman from Great Bend placed 2nd.
The Barton County team of Ryan Kohman, Jake Kohman, Katelyn Reh and Parker Smith placed 1st.
The kid’s traveled to Larned on Saturday to compete in the Pawnee County air rifle match.
