Barton County 4Hers attend Pawnee County 4H Shootout

On March 19, 16 4H’ers from Barton county traveled to Larned to compete in the Pawnee County 4H Shootout.
Competitors from eight western Kansas counties competed in the air rifle match portion of the Pawnee County 4H Shootout. There were also archery and air pistol competitions included in the Shootout.
In the 8 to 10 year old division, Cayman Rowan and Tate Martin from Ellinwood and Parker Dicks from Great Bend represented Barton County. Parker took 1st place in the division.
In the 11 to 12 year old division, Noah Deines from Hoisington, Gus Corbett from Ellinwood and Will Clark from Great Bend represented Barton County. Will placed 2nd and Gus placed 3rd in the division.
In the 13 to 14 year old division, Collin Hammond, Evan Hammond and Dalton Dicks, all from Great Bend, were the participants from Barton County. Dalton placed 1st in the division.
In the 15 to 18 year old division, Barton County was represented by Lake Lyman and Katelyn Reh from Ellinwood and Caleb Straub, Alivia Bautista, Jace Schwager, Ryan Kohman and Parker Smith from Great Bend. Parker placed 1st and Katelyn placed 3rd in the division.
The Barton County team, of Parker Smith, Katelyn Reh, Ryan Kohman and Lake Lyman, placed 1st in the team division.
