Barton County 4Hers compete in last county match of season

On April 2, Barton County 4H traveled to Gray County to compete in the final county level match of the air rifle season.
Woodson Corbett and his brother Gus, both from Ellinwood, represented Barton County in the 11 to 13 year old division.
In the 14 to 18 year old division, Barton county was represented by Evan and Collin Hammond, Parker Smith, Alivia Bautista, Ryan Kohman, Jace Schwager and Caleb Straub, all from Great Bend and Lake Lyman from Ellinwood. Parker finished first in the division.
There were 12 counties represented at the match. The Barton County team of, Ryan Kohman, Lake Lyman, Parker Smith and Alivia Bautista finished in first place.
The next match for the 4H’ers is the State 4H Spring Match on April 23. The Barton county 4H’ers will compete in the air rifle portion of the match.
