The Barton County Association of Retired School Personnel met on Dec. 13 at Montana Mike’s in Great Bend. President Sally O’Connor presided over the meeting. There were 46 members present.
Officers for 2014 were installed: President-Sally O’Connor; Vice-resident-Lois Johnson; Secretary-Judy Fox; Treasurer-Lenny Gales; Membership-Ann Lessor.
Susan Stambaugh and the Madrigal Singers entertained with Christmas songs and their signature song, “Reach Out and Touch.”
All retired school personnel in Barton County are invited and encouraged to become involved in the local group. The next meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. on March 14 at Montana Mike’s.
Retired school personnel are invited to get involved and guests are welcome.
