The Busy Buzzers 4-H club decided November would be a great time to give back to the community with a service project. At their monthly November meeting, they decided to sew shirt protectors for the local care facility Almost Home. Several of club members arrived an hour early to the meeting to begin sewing. There were experienced sewers and kids who had never sewn before helping with the project. By the end of the night, around 12-14 shirt protectors had been sewn. Several parents and volunteers helped make the project a success. The residents and staff of Almost Home were very thankful for the new shirt protectors.
