Founders Day celebrates 84th anniversary of Beta Sigma Phi

At the Beta Sigma Phi Founders Day celebration, Preceptor Pi named Brenda Black, left, as Sister of the Year and Susan Coulson as the chapters Woman of the Year. Laureate Kappa named Ann Schenkel (unable to attend) as Woman of the Year, and Xi Delta Upsilon honored all of its chapter members as Sisters of the Year.

The three Great Bend chapters of Beta Sigma Phi celebrated Founder’s Day April 28 at First Christian Church. The event recognizing the 84th anniversary of the founding of Beta Sigma Phi International was planned and hosted by Xi Delta Upsilon. Following the Founder’s Day meal, each chapter presented its awards to honor members.
Preceptor Pi named Susan Coulson as Woman of the Year and Brenda Black as Sister of the Year. Laureate Kappa honored Ann Schenkel as Woman of the Year. Xi Delta Upsilon honored all of its chapter members. Members of the former Theta Master chapter attended the Founders’ Day celebration as guests.
The theme for 2015-16 will be “Forever Sisters.”
