Great Bend City Slickers 4-H club met on Sept. 12 at the Presbyterian Church. Nine members, three leaders and eight parents were present. It was announced that 4-H record books are due on Sept. 18. Election of officers will take place at the next meeting. 4-H week is Oct. 6- Oct. 12 and all members were asked to wear their 4-H t-shirts and bring friends to the next meeting. The club voted to pay half of the cost of the meal at the awards banquet. The group will be cleaning the Expo grounds after the Big Bend Bike Rally. Different fundraisers were discussed. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Presbyterian Church.
