This prestigious Award recognizes a single Pilot member or officer selected from all Pilot International members worldwide as the individual that has exhibited and demonstrated the most exemplary performance of leading a Pilot International Club at the local level during the preceding twelve months. The Award was presented at the recent Pilot International convention in Chicago. Pilot International was chartered on Oct. 18, 1921 in Macon, Ga. with the name Pilot being inspired by the mighty riverboat pilots of that day who represented leadership and guidance. An organization that has since grown to cross multiple international boundaries, Pilot Internationals mission is to transform communities by developing youth, providing service and education, and uplifting families. The guiding vision for all activities is envisioning a world where each person, regardless of any limitations they may have, is valued. In commenting about the award, Rhonda remarked, Leadership is so much easier with a team like our Great Bend Pilots who are talented, generous and giving.
