League of Women Voters of Great Bend will hold the monthly meeting at noon on March 8, at Classic Inn. Lunch will be from the buffet or the menu.
The program will be given by Richard Boekman, Barton County Administrator. The topic will be the scenic by-way. There have been may improvements and an increase in tourism since it was instituted, and we will be receiving an update on the latest state of the attraction. The entire area of towns and cities have been affected by the addition of the by-ways. The public may attend and time will be allowed for questions from the floor on questions or concerns on the latest additions made and what they have done for the area.
All League members are encouraged to attend and participate. Lunch is informal and dialog is always expected. Guests, both men and women, are welcome.
