League of Women Voters of Great Bend will hold the monthly meeting at noon on Tuesday at The Club at Stone Ridge. Lunch will be from the menu.
The program will be provided by Felix Revello, retired Chief Ranger of Fort Larned National Historical Site. He is an active member of the Sierra Club and the Grassroots Environmental Action Team. He will discuss the environmental concerns surrounding the Keystone XL Pipeline projected to go through Kansas.
The luncheon is informal and time will be allowed for discussion from the floor. The public is invited to attend and participate in the
discussion.
League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state, and local issues of importance. Membership is open to both men and women. Come join League for lunch and ask questions.
