Members of Preceptor Pi Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi, enjoyed an early Thanksgiving dinner on Nov. 16 at First Christian Church with their spouses as their guests. Wheatland Café of Hudson catered the traditional Thanksgiving meal.
The chapter also met Nov. 5 at the home of Lois Johnson. President Cindy Meitler led the meeting.
Service Chair Karen Reif reported she had delivered the chapter’s donation of personal-care, not-perishable items to Catholic Social Services. She is collecting miscellaneous food items for the Barton County Food Bank for the chapter’s November project.
Lois Johnson introduced Dorian Frances, a Nationally Certified Message Therapist, who presented the evening’s program. Her business is called Simply Healthy Massage. All members present enjoyed relaxing five-minute therapeutic chair messages while Frances explained interesting facts about message therapy.
