Preceptor Pi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met on  Nov. 17, at the home of Janis Link. Members decided to make a donation to Prairie Godmothers for Giving Tuesday. In addition, they will donate Christmas food items to the Barton County Food Bank during December.
The chapter celebrated Thanksgiving with a catered dinner on Nov. 21, at the Front Door, attended by 14 members and guests.
Preceptor Pi met on Nov. 3, at Farmers Bank and Trust meeting room. The chapter collected individual donations from members to be presented to the intellectual disabilities classroom teacher at Great Bend Middle School for the purchase of Legos for her classroom.
New Great Bend Police Chief Cliff Couch was guest speaker. He introduced himself and spoke about his goals for the police department. He also answered members’ questions, most of which regarded 10th Street traffic.
