Members will vote for Woman of the Year and Sister of the Year at the next meeting.
Fifteen-year-old Anna Clawson, granddaughter of Jeri Brozek, gave a program about her horsemanship training and the collection of belt buckles she has won over the past nine years in competitive riding events. When she was 6 years old, she began riding lessons and won a first-place belt buckle in her first show. As a member of 4-H, she showed horses and competed in 4-H-sponsored riding events. Now a freshman at Ellinwood High School, she competes in rodeo association events, including barrel, pole and speed events. She displayed as many as 16 to 18 belt buckles that she has won in competitions.
The next meeting of Preceptor Pi is set for 7 p.m. April 2 at the home of Linda Jerke. Co-hostess Karen Reif will also present the program.
