Preceptor Pi President advances to Master Degree; chapter gives to veterans

President of Preceptor Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Rosie Luthi, was honored with the Master Degree ceremony Nov. 14, advancing from the Laureate Degree to Master Degree with 43 years of membership in Beta Sigma Phi.
Supporting the Adopt-a-Vet Program sponsored by Argonne American Legion Auxiliary, Preceptor Pi presented Christmas gifts for three veterans residing at the Fort Dodge Soldiers’ Home.
Accepting the gifts was Brenda Krueger, chairman of the auxiliary’s Adopt-a-Vet Program. She thanked Preceptor Pi for the gifts and said the auxiliary was happy to note that all of the veterans from the tree at the Legion had been adopted.
The chapter’s November programs included a program of facts about Thanksgiving and a Thanksgiving word search.
The chapter’s Reception Sisters continue their fundraising venture assisting with receptions for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and similar events to raise funds for the chapter’s community service projects. For more information about Reception Sisters, contact Susan Brown, 620-793-5265.
