The Progress Club met on Feb. 5. The program was presented by Pam Martin of the Kansas Wetlands Education Center on how to press flowers. Instructions included preparing the press, choosing the right kind of flower, deciding on the flower placement and remembering how the flowers were arranged. Once placement is decided the flowers are removed and glue applied.
Supplies were provided by Pam and each lady designed her own creation.
The March meeting will be at the Presbyterian Church with Tricia Reiser as guest speaker.
