The Progress Club met on Nov. 3, at the home of Pat Halbower, with Jackie Curtis and Maxie Hinkson as co-hostesses. Sixteen members attended.
Judy Fox opened the meeting with prayer. The club will meet for lunch on Dec. 1, at the Wolf Hotel in Ellinwood. Kim Randall will cater the event. Linda Dougherty suggested the annual donation to the Military Mom’s Fund. Members made their donations and they will be delivered to the committee.
The program was given by Rebecca Ford, maker of Artisan Soaps. She gave an overview of the soap-making process, ingredients used, and, the various varieties and their special uses.
