Rosewood Club in AKTION
A group of Rosewood Miracle Workers AKTION Club members pose for a photo at the west door of Great Bends Walmart during Peanut Day on April 24. The club sold peanuts and took donations during the day, which will go toward club activities and a community blanket drive later this year. Working Peanut Day on the east side of Walmart for Rosewood AKTION Club were Caitlyn Galloway, Kandyce Miskell and Josh Trimmer. Also helping was Rosewood AKTION Club sponsor Malinda Hatfield. Rosewood Aktion Club is an affiliate of the national Kiwanis organization that promotes service in action for people with developmental disabilities. There are 12,000 members worldwide. The local club allows Rosewood clients to be actively involved in the community and to positively impact the lives of others.
