TLC Twister’s 4-H Club met on Sept. 16.
The Pledge of Allegiance and 4-H pledge was led by Calista. Molly led us in the song “Camp Grenada”. Roll call was your favorite silly band. Twelve members, two leaders, 10 parents, and two guest were present. Berny and Donna will be coming to TLC on Oct. 6 to talk to the kids about 4-H. Jadin and Jacenda will be on the committee for the achievement banquet. Jacenda gave a project talk on her hermit crab.
Karly gave a project talk on things you need to sew. Jenna gave a demonstration on making a pillow. Heather gave a demonstration on the NWYLF games she learned. Recreation was “Newspaper Sweep” by Molly. Refreshments provided by Bonny. At the state fair Heather got 17th place on poultry judging. Liz got 57th place, Anna got 36th place, and Bonny got 37th place in photography. Jenna got 27th in intermediate.
The next meeting will be on Oct. 21 with hostess Parker. Morgan and Jadin will have project talks and Kaitlin and Parker will have demonstrations.
