Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111 Auxiliary met on Oct. 25, at the Post Home with 12 attending. Projects for next month include: donations made to Emergency Aid Food Bank, Hungry Hearts Soup Kitchen, Kansas Endowment for Veterans Children and Grandchildren, National Military Service and Quilts of Valor for honoring our Veterans. It was decided that “Poppy Days” would be held Nov. 25 through Nov. 11, at businesses in Great Bend.
