Cottonwood Extension District will be hosting a free coyote trapping and predator calling program by Wildlife Specialist Drew Ricketts starting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the Hays Agricultural Research Center auditorium, 1232 240th Avenue. During his program, he will discuss coyote biology, helping people to better understand their movements, vocalizations, and diet among other topics. He will also discuss tips and methods on trapping and calling coyotes including the proper use of mouth and electronic calls.
