Pictured are the core group of the Cycle Sewing quilters with some of the quilts they have made in the last six months. Since the group was awarded a Midwest Energy grant, members have made 14 quilts, seven quilt tops and other items for the community. The group donates their work to area organizations who work with those in need. Organizations with a need for their clients or who are holding fundraisers may contact the Cycle Sewing members. Cycle Sewing is a group of area residents who like sewing and quilting. They sew together at Great Bend Cycle on Saturdays and/or Sundays and make projects for various charitable purposes.
