The the Fort Larned Chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution met June 11, at Jordaan Memorial Library.

Regent Donna Campbell received certificates from the National Society of the DAR for the following: Outstanding support of NSDAR Americanism committee objectives, from national chair; and outstanding achievement for Constitution Week activities; outstanding achievement for commemorating the anniversary of the Vietnam War; women’s issues participating service; Terrific Treasurer Award for remitting dues by December, all from state chair. 

Janet Skelton was host and her guest was Martha Scranton who shared the Effective Parliamentary Procedure, most commonly known as Robert’s Rules of Order. 

There will be no naturalization ceremony at Fort Larned this year. Meetings will resume Sept. 10, at Jordaan Memorial Library in Larned. The Fort Larned Chapter of the NSDAR covers Pawnee, Edwards and Barton County, all are welcome to attend.
