Here are the latest Ellinwood School/Community Library happenings:
• Changes in Hoopla: You may have gotten an error message in the past few days or might get one in the future. Here’s what’s going on. Each borrow on hoopla costs our library a small charge. Our library has been budgeted for a certain amount of borrows. There have been changes in the hoopla system and as of Nov. 1 we now have a daily limit of funds that can be withdrawn from our hoopla account. Once we reach that limit, no more borrows will be allowed that day. You can try to borrow after midnight or early in the morning, but sometimes the money gets spent very quickly. We will try to help you the best that we can, but for now, this is the way that the system has been changed and we have no control over it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you!
• Library Intern Allison Ricker has been busy curating our Doll Collection. The dolls will be on display during the months of November and December.
• Please join us for a mock debate and presentation by our EHS students in the Ellinwood School/Community Library at 7 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 16.
The NHS Hope Tree will be set up in the library the week of Nov. 21st through Dec. 9th. Stop in to select a youth to purchase a gift for, or money jars will be set up around the community if you would like for our NHS members to purchase the gifts.
