Daryl and Debra Dreiling of Gardner announce the engagement of their son, Ryan Patrick Dreiling, to Carly Jane Prenger, daughter of Bruce Prenger and Lisa and Thomas Imhoff, all of Jefferson City, Mo. Grandparents of the prospective groom are William and Dorothy Stoss and Fred Dreiling, all of Great Bend. Grandparents of the bride-elect are Robert and Jane Stumpe of Jefferson City, Mo.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Helias Interparish High School. She graduated summa cum laude in 2007 from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Administration. She is employed by Starwood Hotels and Resorts as a sales manager at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel.
The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Gardner Edgerton High School. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He is employed by Sprint/Nextel Corporation in Overland Park as a product development engineer.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 30 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Overland Park.
