Fern Tompkins, of Great Bend, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Nov. 21, 2020, with a card shower.

She was born in 1930 on a farm north of St. John to Floid and Alta Miller. Fern married Kenneth Tompkins (deceased) on Oct. 29, 1949. Their children are Greg (Lori) Tompkins, Mark (Doris) Tompkins, and Teresa (Denis) Bachand; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
