Free summer meals available to children in Bushton and Claflin

Community volunteers along with the Kansas Food Bank will partner together this summer to provide meals for children in Bushton and Claflin as part of the USDA Summer Food Service Program.
Community volunteers will assist with daily meal service from noon to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 1 through Aug. 11. Children are required to eat their meal on site as part of the program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
Bushton meals will be served at the Bushton Methodist Church, 213 S. 3rd Street. Claflin meals will be served at the Claflin United Methodist Church, 120 3rd Street. Free meals are available to all children ages 1 to 18.
