The Barton County Historical Museum and Village will conduct an orientation meeting at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 4, for anyone interested in volunteer service at the museum. This meeting will feature a short orientation and information about past and current happenings at the museum. Refreshments will be served.

The Museum and Village will change to summer hours beginning Tuesday, April 9, and continuing through October. The hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The museum is closed on Mondays. Winter hours will resume in November.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer and those who just want to learn more about the museum are invited to attend the orientation without obligation. Parties may also call the museum office, 793-5125, or volunteer coordinator Karen Naylor, 793-6392.
